Job summary

sKids in New Zealand is seeking a Casual Programme Assistant. You will mainly work in the afternoons, with shifts 2.30pm–6.00pm and availability from 2.30pm essential. This reliever role offers flexible hours and the chance to positively impact Tamariki at school sites.

Qualifications

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship).
• Can get to Pilllans Point, Matua & Welcome Bays sites with reliable transportation.
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts.
• Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special.

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities.
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children.
• Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing.
• Spoting hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported.

Job Description

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.

• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm.Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.
