SouthRoads, part of the HW Richardson Group, is seeking a Contract Manager for the Central Lakes Division to drive tendering, planning and site delivery across Central Otago. You’ll lead contracts, coordinate crews and plant, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You’ll come from a trades background or have an engineering qualification, with solid NZTA and local government knowledge. This role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle and real career development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end tendering and contract administration.
• Strong communication with clients, crews and management.
• Knowledge of NZTA specs and local government requirements.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end tendering from documentation to contract award.
• Prepare job programmes and instructions.
• Set production targets and ensure they are met.
• Prepare Contract Quality Plans and administer subcontract agreements.
• Lead or support tender submissions and quotations.
