Job summary

SouthRoads is recruiting a Contract Manager to lead the execution of civil construction and maintenance projects across Central Otago. You will plan, programme and coordinate people and plant to deliver on time and to a high standard, while managing tender submissions and client relationships.

You’ll drive production targets, quality plans and subcontract administration, ensuring safety and compliance on every site.

Qualifications

• End-to-end tendering experience.
• Contract/Project management in civil works.
• Ability to prepare production targets and site instructions.
• Experience with NZTA specs and local government requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tendering processes from documentation to award.
• Prepare job programmes and site instructions.
• Set production targets and communicate them across teams.
• Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and quality plans.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across projects.
