Job summary

RGIT Australia in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Construction Plant Operator to join our civil and infrastructure team. You will operate excavators on a variety of projects including land development, streetscapes, rail and marine works.

You must hold a Full Class 1 licence with WTR (Class 2 preferred) and have at least 3 years of excavator experience, with safe, competent operation in tight urban spaces.

Qualifications

• Valid heavy equipment operating experience, especially excavators.
• Licence and certification requirements as listed.
• Ability to work safely in tight urban spaces.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Plant Operator to join our team. We deliver a variety of projects, including land development, streetscapes, rail and marine, and are looking for excavation experience to help us dig in.

What We’re Looking For

• Full Class 1 drivers licence with WTR (Class 2 is preferrable)
• At least 3 years experience operating excavators (experience with other heavy machinery is beneficial)
• Safe, competent and confident operations around services and in tight urban spaces
