Job summary

Baxter in Auckland is seeking a Compounding Team Leader to oversee a skilled production team in a sterile compounding environment. The role focuses on safe operations, quality, and continuous improvement to meet patient needs.

You will lead daily production, coach staff, and drive Lean initiatives while ensuring GMP compliance and strong stakeholder collaboration with the Compounding Manager and cross-functional teams.

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to drive performance and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team to achieve quality, service and productivity targets.
• Develop team capability through coaching and skills development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Ensure GMP, quality and safety compliance across shifts.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Coordinate daily production priorities and shift handovers.
