Job summary

Slade Health in Auckland is seeking a Science Graduate for our pharmaceutical compounding production team. This is a training‑intensive role in a sterile manufacturing environment, with no research required.

Shifts run 6:30am–3pm and 9:30am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend/public holiday overtime to meet customer needs. Full training is provided on the job and development support is ongoing. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications are not a requirement; training will be provided on the job.
• Candidates should have an eye for detail and meticulous record keeping.
• Strong communication skills are valued for team collaboration and patient safety.

About Slade Health:

Slade Health, a division of ICON Group, is one of Australia’s largest providers of sterile compounding services, including chemotherapy, analgesics, antibiotics and TPN products.

Slade Health supplies over one million infusions per annum to in-excess of 200 hospital partners via its four Australian based compounding facilities. In late 2022, Slade Health partnered with Te Toka Tumai to build a new world-class Medsafe licenced compounding facility capable of producing chemotherapy, antibiotics, analgesics, and nutritional products in New Zealand.

Slade Health is now supplying compounded products for public hospitals across Auckland , which represents over 40% of New Zealand’s cancer patients, and is continuing to grow.

About the role:

Shifts available across the hours of 6:30am to 6 pm Monday – Friday. There will be some planned weekend/public holiday overtime to meet customer requirements. You will be provided with extensive training and will be responsible for:

• Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
• Checking, sealing and labelling final product
• Ensuring completion of documentation
• GMP cleans for facility and equipment

What we are looking for:

Formal qualifications are not a requirement, because it’s more important for every Production Technician to commit to the training; then work efficiently, accurately and with an appreciation for the importance of the quality of the product. We’d love to hear from you if you have an eye for detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
