Job summary

Baxter is looking for a Compounding Technician to join our Christchurch facility on a full-time 12-month contract, with potential for extension and permanent roles. You will be responsible for aseptically preparing sterile medications, labeling, packing and ensuring GMP-compliant documentation throughout the process.

Candidates new to the pharmaceutical field are welcome as full training is provided. Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to a cleanroom environment is required.

Qualifications

• Candidates may start with no experience; full training provided.
• Comfort with cleanroom environments and GMP protocols.
• Strong numeracy and ability to interpret basic mathematical data.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to shift work schedules.
• Experience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically compounding sterile solutions.
• Packing finished units and final product inspection.
• Labelling and dispatching prepared products.
• Ensuring documentation adheres to GMP procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and standard operating procedures.
