Job summary

Florenz is seeking a Compliance and Quality Coordinator to support our Rangiora operations, ensuring on-site compliance, safety, and quality control. You will work closely with the Operations and Compliance Manager to maintain certifications and statutory obligations, while coordinating documentation and testing of incoming goods.

Based on Lineside Road, this four-day-per-week role requires initiative, accuracy, and the ability to work without supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a compliance/quality role.
• Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to meet quality and timeframe standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onsite compliance and certifications with support from Operations and Compliance Manager.
• Monitor quality management and assurance processes for the site.
• Administrate health and safety for the site and support the Health & Safety Council.
• Manage Inward Goods documentation, storage and testing.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure quality and safety of goods.

About the Role:

This role is to provide the hands on, day-to-day support to our Rangiora operations team in the quality, safety and overall compliance on site. The Compliance and Quality Coordinator will work closely with the operations team and wider Wedderspoon compliance team to ensure that statutory obligations and administrative requirements are met. The role is Monday to Thursday, 6.30am to 4.30pm (lunch breaks are paid!) and based on Lineside Road in Rangiora.

Key Accountabilities:

• You will be responsible for and coordinate onsite compliance and certifications with support from our Operations and Compliance Manager.
• You will monitor and coordinate the quality management and assurance processes for the site
• You will administrate health and safety for the site and support the Operations & Compliance Manager on the wider Florenz Health and Safety Council.
• Manage Inward Goods to ensure correct documentation, storage and material testing of goods. Ensuring compliance with a Transitional Facility.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure compliance, safety and quality of goods.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years previous experience in a similar role.
• A high level of personal initiative, motivation, and ability to work without supervision.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing is preferred.
• Ensuring core work quality and timeframe standards are met.
• Ability to work under pressure, constantly prioritizing as deadlines change.
• A person of integrity who will respect the confidentiality and sensitivity of the information dealt with.
