Job summary

Goodman Fielder in Auckland City is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our National Quality Team. This full-time, on-site role supports 10 manufacturing sites across the country and focuses on leading quality across complaints and alignment with head office standards.

You will review consumer feedback, perform trend analysis, and drive a culture of quality and food safety with site Quality Managers while coordinating audits and PIF reviews. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Food Technology / Science partnered with practical Quality experience
• Food Safety and/or quality qualifications (HACCP, TACCP&VACCP) would be useful.
• Auditing qualification would be highly desirable
• Understanding of Food Safety & Quality principles; and an understanding of GFSI standards including BRC and FSSC22000
• Extremely strong written communication ability for answering customer queries/enquiries

Responsibilities

• Review consumer complaints alongside Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales & Marketing, quickly escalating trends and insights.
• Undertake regular trend analysis on complaints and ensure action plans are in place.
• Work with the Quality Manager of each site to coordinate a business wide Quality and Food Safety culture.
• Schedule approved PIF reviews & act as the business's Trading Standards / Weight Management specialist.
• Complete internal audits, consumer questionnaires and portals; as well as provide coordination and administration support to the wider National Quality team.
