Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering the Northland Corridor project in Auckland and seeks a senior Compliance Manager to lead governance, assurance and compliance across a complex, multi-stakeholder delivery model. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Commercial Director and supports safeguarding contractual integrity.

You will work with technical, finance and stakeholder teams to ensure obligations are met and project performance is protected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, governance or assurance within major infrastructure, PPP, or project finance environments.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
• Strong understanding of complex contractual frameworks and multi-party delivery models.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and commercial teams.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, governance processes, and assurance systems
• Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual, regulatory and statutory obligations across all project phases
• Oversee compliance across multiple contract interfaces, ensuring clear accountability and effective coordination
• Manage audit and assurance activities, including preparation of reporting for senior leadership and governance forums
• Identify, assess and mitigate compliance and contractual risks to protect project performance and reputation

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Compliance Manager to join a major infrastructure project environment. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead compliance, governance and assurance activities within a complex, multi-stakeholder delivery model, ensuring obligations are met across construction and operational phases.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a critical role in safeguarding contractual integrity, maintaining strong governance frameworks and supporting long-term project performance.

You will work closely with technical, finance and stakeholder teams to ensure seamless coordination of compliance obligations, while providing independent oversight and driving best-practice across the organisation.

This permanent, fulltime role is based in the Auckland region with a market related salary range of NZD 120,000 to NZD 140,000 per annum.
