Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager for a major New Zealand infrastructure project. Based in the Auckland region, you will lead compliance, governance and assurance activities across all project phases, reporting to the Commercial Director.

The role focuses on safeguarding contractual integrity and strong governance while coordinating with technical, finance and stakeholder teams. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in compliance or related areas, a relevant tertiary

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Compliance Manager to join a major infrastructure project environment. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead compliance, governance and assurance activities within a complex, multi-stakeholder delivery model, ensuring obligations are met across construction and operational phases. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a critical role in safeguarding contractual integrity, maintaining strong governance frameworks and supporting long term project performance. You will work closely with technical, finance and stakeholder teams to ensure seamless coordination of compliance obligations, while providing independent oversight and driving best-practice across the organisation. This permanent, fulltime role is based in the Auckland region with a market related salary range of NZD 120,000 to NZD 140,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Competencies

• Demonstrated experience of minimum 2 years in compliance, governance or assurance within major infrastructure, PPP, or project finance environments


• A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable


• Strong understanding of complex contractual frameworks and multi-party delivery models


• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and commercial teams


• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
