• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and regulatory obligations.
• Experience in compliance risk management within financial services.
• Understanding of FMC Act, CCCFA, prudential regs and licensing requirements.
• Ability to provide robust review and challenge while building trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Collaborative approach with ownership and delivery mindset.

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager - Licensing Oversight to join our Compliance team. This is a critical Line 2 role focused on providing independent oversight, challenge, and advice across ASB's licensing and regulatory obligations.

You'll play an important part in strengthening ASB's compliance framework and ensuring we continue to meet our obligations in an evolving regulatory environment.

As the Compliance Manager - Licensing Oversight, you will:

• Provide proactive Line 2 oversight and challenge with a particular focus on licensing compliance matters.
• Support the ongoing development and enhancement of ASB's enterprise licence management framework.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, helping ensure licensing obligations are understood, embedded, and effectively managed.
• Deliver independent review and challenge of licence governance, monitoring, and reporting practices.
• Assess compliance incidents, determine reportability requirements, and support regulatory notifications where required.
• Monitor regulatory developments and help embed regulatory change across the organisation.
• Contribute to reporting provided to senior leadership, the Board, and regulators.

• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and regulatory obligations.
• Experience in compliance risk management within financial services.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks including the FMC Act, CCCFA, Prudential regulations and associated licensing requirements.
• The ability to provide robust review and challenge while building trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
