Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Community Relations Officer to support mining operations near Queenstown. You will bridge the mine and nearby communities, develop engagement strategies, address concerns, and ensure mutual benefit.

You will build relationships with community leaders, local government, and residents; manage social investment projects; and report on activities to management. A strong background in social development and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in social sciences, communications, PR, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in community relations or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of community development principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly in reports and meetings.

About the Role
