Endura Mining is seeking a Community Liaison Officer to build and sustain relationships with residents, schools, groups and service providers around Reefton and the West Coast. You will coordinate community meetings, respond to enquiries and manage sponsorships and events. The role demands strong communication, empathy and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Act as Endura's primary community contact and build relationships with residents, schools, groups and service providers.
• Support engagement with mana whenua and Papatipu Rūnanga in line with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
• Maintain contact with councils, emergency services, community boards and other local organisations.
• Deliver the Engagement Strategy through updates, social media, drop-in sessions, site tours and open days.
• Record and report compliance with consent conditions relating to community engagement.
