Cgr Services in Papakura is seeking an experienced AOD Clinician for a permanent, part-time role (24 hours per week, 48 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday. You will work within a community-based AOD service supporting adults 18+.

The role embraces a dual Peer Support and Clinician model, delivering holistic, culturally responsive assessment and treatment. You will collaborate with Peer Support Specialists, build relationships with whānau and community organisations, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Current DAPAANZ registration preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in AOD/mental health settings.
• Strong knowledge of addiction, recovery and therapeutic frameworks.
• Experience completing clinical assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions.
• Demonstrated experience supporting people experiencing substance use challenges.
• First Aid certification including CPR, or willingness to obtain it.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver licence.

Responsabilités

• Complete comprehensive AOD assessments and develop individualised, recovery-focused treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to each person’s needs, strengths and goals.
• Work collaboratively with Peer Support Specialists to deliver person-centred care.
• Build effective relationships with whānau, community organisations and other support services.
• Assess and respond to risk, including development of safety and relapse-prevention plans.
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely clinical records.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate group education and recovery programmes.
• Contribute to a service that is culturally responsive, trauma-informed and grounded in recovery principles.
