IHC New Zealand’s IDEA Services Community Hub in South East Auckland is hiring a part-time Support Worker. You’ll lead engaging activities for people with intellectual disabilities, including arts and crafts, cooking, music, fitness, and outings.

Qualifications

• A positive can-do attitude and genuine interest in working in disability services.
• Experience planning, facilitating or leading group activities preferred.
• Creativity and confidence running activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, music, fitness, or games.
• Ability to engage and motivate people with different interests and support needs.
• Comfortable using computers and tablets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Physical capability to actively participate in activities and provide practical support.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
