Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) Whakatipu Store is seeking an Associate Partner Commercial to grow your commercial banking career alongside experienced Partners and a diverse portfolio of business customers.

You will focus on credit writing, financial analysis, and portfolio risk monitoring, delivering exceptional customer service while developing long-term relationships. This role emphasizes collaboration, agility, and professional growth in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

Experience in business banking, financial modelling or credit writing.
Banking experience with complex lending is valued.
Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Support Commercial Partners with credit writing, annual reviews, covenant testing and portfolio administration.
Analyse financial information and prepare lending proposals that support quality customer outcomes.
Assist with credit management and the implementation of annual business plans for assigned customer portfolios.
Develop and manage customer relationships, while building strong referral connections across BNZ and the local market.
Help customers make the most of BNZ’s digital and support channels, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate service.
