Job summary

Hastings District Council’s Heretaunga Hastings Libraries seek an energetic Library Assistant to support collections processing and front-of-house service. You’ll work across all library sites with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.

This permanent part-time role (37 hours per week) involves coordinating with teams, delivering excellent customer service, and adapting to multiple systems and platforms. An opportunity to contribute to community connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing library collections.
• Experience in a library consortium environment would be an advantage.
