Vulcan in Tauranga seeks a hands-on CNC press brake operator to set up and run bending and forming of steel parts. You will read job sheets, check measurements and ensure quality while keeping the workspace tidy and safe. The role requires a current forklift licence, reliability, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks.

This is a permanent, full-time, dayshift position with early start times. You will join Vulcan, a leading metals distributor and processor with a strong regional presence

Formación

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines, preferably in metal manufacturing.
• Current forklift licence is essential.
• Ability to read measurements and drawings.
• Fit, strong, able to lift heavy loads.
• Reliable and punctual, with right to work in New Zealand.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to spec.
• Read and follow drawings and job sheets.
• Perform bending and forming of steel parts.
• Check measurements and quality of finished work.
• Operate a forklift to move materials.
• Keep machines clean and report faults.
• Follow Health & Safety rules and work safely.
