Job summary

AWF Group representing a precision engineering business on Auckland's North Shore seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to join the team. This permanent role offers varied and challenging work, modern equipment, and the chance to produce high-quality machined components.

You will program, set up and operate CNC lathes with GibbsCAM or similar CAM software, read engineering drawings, and maintain tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes.
• Strong knowledge of CAM software and G-Code programming, ideally including GibbsCAM or similar systems.
• Experience with live tooling and producing complex precision components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work confidently to tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
