Job summary

CNC Profile Cutting Services – Hastings, North Island, is seeking a CNC Programmer / Data Entry person to join our busy team. This full-time, office-based role runs Monday through Friday with hours negotiable for the right candidate.

You will prepare customer jobs, process orders, nest parts, and liaise with customers. Full training will be provided and prior experience in steel profiling is advantageous.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

CNC Profile Cutting Services is a busy and established steel profiling business based in Hawke’s Bay. We are looking for a CNC Programmer / Data Entry person to join our team.

This is a full-time office-based position, Monday through Friday. Hours can be discussed for the right candidate.

THE ROLE

Working closely with our office team, you will be responsible for preparing customer jobs and production information.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Entering and processing customer orders accurately
• Nesting parts to optimise material usage
• Checking dimensions, quantities, material grades and job specifications
• Preparing paperwork
• Liaising with customers to clarify requirements
• Assisting with quoting and job costing when required
• Maintaining accurate records and filing
• General administration and data entry associated with production

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is confident working with numbers and measurements
• Is computer literate and comfortable learning new software
• Has strong data entry and administrative skills
• Can work accurately under pressure
• Is organised and able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
• Can work independently but is also a strong team player
• Takes pride in getting things right the first time

Full training will be provided to the right person.
