Qualifications

• Experience in managing a sports club, hospitality, or leisure facility operations.
• Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and relationship-building with members, partners, and suppliers.
• Ability to manage budgets, basic financial reporting, and operational planning.
• Experience coordinating events, scheduling, and organizing social or sporting activities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with digital tools and systems (booking platforms, membership systems, office software).
• Clear and confident verbal and written English communication.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Interest in racket sports, fitness, or community activities; padel/tennis experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Relevant operations/management experience; formal qualifications in business, sports management, or hospitality are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Kiwi Padel Club and ensure high service standards.
• Manage staff schedules and supervise customer service to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Ensure facilities and courts are well-maintained and safe.
• Coordinate events, leagues and social activities to boost engagement.
• Handle membership processes and support marketing/promotions to grow participation.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets and reporting to leadership.
• Build strong relationships with members, partners and suppliers; implement health and safety procedures.
• Continuously improve the member experience in line with the club’s community vision.
