Job summary

Aderant Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer (Intermediate) to ensure the reliability of our AWS and Azure environments.

You will own operational workstreams end to end, author and refine runbooks, drive incidents to resolution, and reduce recurring toil through automation. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in operations or SRE, strong scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python, and hands-on experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Datadog.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an operations, SRE, production support, or NOC role with hands-on incident response leadership
• Hands-on AWS and Azure experience including IAM, compute, networking, storage, cost and security trade-offs
• Proficient scripting in Bash/PowerShell and Python for automation and integration
• Experience building and tuning observability dashboards and SLO/SLI monitoring
• Track record of authoring and improving runbooks/SOPs and automations
• Experience owning incidents through full lifecycle: triage, coordination, comms, resolution, post-incident reviews
• Familiar with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow) and on-call rotations
• Strong written and verbal communication; incident communications and mentorship

Responsibilities

• Own operational workstreams end to end, including running and refining runbooks
• Lead incident response, drive resolution, and reduce toil through automation
• Create and improve observability with dashboards and alerting; manage incident comms
• Coordinate with stakeholders and mentor junior engineers during incidents
