Job summary

Habit Health in Auckland CBD is seeking a Clinical Support Administrator for a fixed-term maternity cover from October 2026 to April 2027. The role is part-time and supports a busy clinical team with administration of clinical processes underpinning counselling and support services for clients.

The ideal candidate is a graduate psychologist (preferable), with strong administration skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with referral processes to DHBs and other services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with and advise on clinical policies and processes in line with best practice
  • Handle administrative duties including information requests and reporting
  • Induct and onboard contractors and new staff
  • Process nursing assessments within 24 hours and coordinate follow-up
  • Capture information for clinical reporting (Pre-employment, annual monitoring, client reports, referrals)

Job description

Our Auckland CBD branch is looking for a Clinical Support Administrator to join the team on a fixed-term maternity cover from October 2026 to April 2027, working part-time hours. The key purpose of the role is to assist with the administration of clinical processes which underpin the counselling and support services provided by EAP Services to our clients (employers). If you’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy supporting a busy clinical team, we’d love to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assisting with and advising on clinical policies and processes in accordance with EAP & Occupational Health best practice, including supporting clinical and support staff in need of assistance with at-risk clients when required
  • Administrative duties including information requests, critical incident reports, processing additional session requests, Ethics & Compliance reporting and client handover
  • Induction and clinical onboarding of contractors, and supporting the induction of new employed staff
  • Accurate processing of completed Nursing assessments within 24 hours of completion, and management of any follow-up required as a result of the assessments completed
  • Capturing all required information accurately to facilitate clinical reporting requirements including Pre-employment Reports, Annual Monitoring Reports, Client Reports and Referrals, Well Health Reports, Customer Activity Reports, and Ad-hoc Reports
