Job summary

Care on Call (NZ) Ltd invites a Clinical Nurse Professional Development Coordinator to strengthen clinical capability by coordinating professional development for our nursing team. The permanent part-time role (3 days per week) is based in Christchurch and focuses on learning opportunities, records and meeting professional standards.

Reporting to the Clinical Team Lead, you will help identify development needs, support induction and refresher training, and establish PDRP programmes.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand RN registration with APC.
• Approved PDRP assessor status.
• Experience in clinical education and development.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Clinical Nurse Professional Development Coordinator

Canterbury Permanent / Full Time

Help strengthen clinical capability by supporting nurses to learn, grow and meet professional standards. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate professional development for our clinical team in a permanent part-time role, working 3 days per week. Christchurch is the preferred location.

Reporting to the Clinical Team Lead, you will help ensure clinical colleagues have access to structured, relevant and fair learning opportunities. You will support individual growth, maintain professional development records, and assist the nursing team to meet PDRP, APC and contractual requirements.

About the role

In this role, you will work closely with clinical management and internal teams to identify development needs, coordinate learning opportunities, support induction and refresher training, and contribute to the quality and consistency of clinical education. You will also help establish and maintain PDRP programmes and support timely enrolment and follow-up.

What you’ll do

About you

You will be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate and approved PDRP assessor status. You’ll bring a practical understanding of the home and community support sector, strong organisation skills, and the confidence to coach, coordinate and support others.
