Job summary

Arvida in New Zealand is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for a 6-month maternity leave cover. The role supports the Clinical Manager to uphold person-centered care and clinical excellence across households, leading self-led wellness and care teams in a resident-led environment.

You will mentor clinical teams, manage clinical risk, oversee assessments, planning and delivery of care, and liaise with residents and families while contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

• Provide clinical care including assessments, planning and delivery of care according to nursing practice and standards.
• Lead, supervise and guide team members and ensure medical instructions are correctly administered and documented.
• Communicate with residents and families and participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement.

The Clinical Coordinator supports the Clinical Manager in ensuring ongoing clinical excellence and a standard of care that reflects a person-centered holistic culture and fully incorporates Arvida’s Attitude of Living Well. You will also provide a responsive service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
