Job summary

Totally Vets Limited in Taumarunui is seeking an enthusiastic Client Services person to join our Customer Services Team. This full-time role, Monday to Friday, provides first point of contact for clients and visitors, booking appointments, answering animal health questions and offering sales advice.

You should have a passion for customer service, excellent communication, and a good knowledge of Taumarunui and rural/agricultural settings.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in rural, farming or agricultural contexts is desirable.
• Knowledge of veterinary practice is beneficial.
• Good knowledge of the Taumarunui area and surrounding locations.
• Experience managing calls, booking diaries and appointments.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and use initiative.
• Excellent computer skills and confidence with tech.
• Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

About Taumarunui

Taumarunui is situated only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski field - one of NZ's largest ski areas, and the Tongariro National Park – a World Heritage Area which boasts one of thebest one-day treks in New Zealand, the Tongariro Crossing.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Client Services person to join our Customer Services Team.

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday.

We are looking for people who have the following qualities:

• A passion for customer service, with excellent communication skills
• Enjoys working in a busy environment and being busy all day
• Rural, farming, or agricultural experience and knowledge
• Veterinary practice experience and knowledge
• Good knowledge of the Taumarunui area and geographical locations
• Previous experience in managing calls, booking diaries and appointments
• Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to use initiative
• Excellent computer skills
• Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on detail and going the extra mile

Responsibilities include:

Previous experience within a customer service, veterinary or agricultural sector would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given.
