KM Dass Cleaning Services Ltd is seeking a part-time Client Service and Sales professional based in Hamilton. You will work 20–25 hours weekly, travel nationwide with Client Service Managers, attend executive meetings, and drive new leads. Based at our Hamilton head office and reporting to the Client Service Manager, this is a part-time Client Service and Sales position of 20–25 hours per week. Days and hours are set by agreement and worked within normal business hours.
You will work closely alongside our Client Service Managers, travelling with them to client sites and attending high-level commercial client meetings throughout New Zealand. You'll be in the room with senior decision-makers facilities managers, principals, business owners and executives; taking notes, supporting the pitch, and following up afterwards to move opportunities forward.
This role involves regular travel, including overnight stays away from Hamilton. All travel, accommodation and meals are paid for by the company. If you are not able to travel and stay away overnight, this role will not suit.
Client emails and correspondence responding promptly and professionally to client enquiries, requests and service issues.
Cold calling and outreach identifying and contacting potential clients by phone and email to generate qualified new leads.
Travel with Client Service Managers accompanying CSMs to client sites and meetings across the country, including overnight trips. Flights or mileage, hotels and meals are all covered by KM Dass.
Attend high-level commercial client meetings representing KM Dass professionally in front of executives and senior decision-makers.
Note taking and meeting records capturing accurate, detailed notes during client meetings and site walkthroughs, then turning them into clear follow-up actions, summaries and briefs for the CSM and management team.
Sales assistance booking walkthrough meetings for the Client Service Managers, assisting with proposals and quotations from site assessments, and following leads through to close.
Client service and retention building strong ongoing relationships, resolving concerns quickly, and checking in with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
Quality assurance carrying out site checks to confirm our service standards are being met.
Coordination liaising with Area Managers and cleaning teams so client requests and service changes are actioned.
Performance is measured, and we're upfront about that. You'll have weekly and monthly targets covering new leads generated, outreach activity, meetings attended and supported, client response times and client retention. Targets are set with you and reviewed regularly, and you'll get the training and support to hit them.

Excellent communication skills: This is essential. You will be speaking with executives and senior client representatives, and your written and verbal English must be of a high professional standard.
A professional appearance and business attire. You'll be attending executive-level meetings and representing our brand.
Genuine willingness and ability to travel, including overnight stays away from home. Non-negotiable for this role.
Strong note-taking skills and attention to detail the ability to listen, capture what matters, and write it up clearly.
Confidence to make cold calls and open conversations with new prospects.
Experience in sales, account management, business development, customer service or executive support (service industry, facilities management or cleaning an advantage but not essential).
Self-motivated and well organized able to manage your own schedule and pipeline.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and CRM or job-management software.
The right to work in New Zealand.
Willingness to undergo a Police vetting check.
$25 – $28 per hour depending on experience, paid fortnightly
