Job summary

Brown and Associates Accounting Group in Richmond, Nelson/Tasman, is seeking a Client Manager to oversee a client portfolio, provide practical advice, and lead in a supportive, growth-focused team environment.

You will manage client relationships, prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and GST, and guide colleagues. Excellent communication and proactive problem solving are essential while liaising with banks, IRD, and other advisors.

Qualifications

• NZ Chartered Accounting experience is required.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to review financial statements and tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, build strong relationships, and provide practical, tailored advice
• Take responsibility for the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and GST
• Guide and support other team members when required
• Provide advice on complex financial and tax matters, finding solutions for client issues
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
• Assist clients with accounting software queries and system improvements
• Liaise with IRD, ACC, banks, lawyers, and other stakeholders on behalf of clients
