Job summary

• Strong technical capability with well-developed financial reporting skills across income tax, GST and FBT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Review work prepared by team members for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage client compliance requirements efficiently and proactively.
• Deliver business advisory services including tax planning, management reporting, valuations and due diligence.
• Mentor, coach and train staff; support team development.
• Contribute to firm culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role

Working closely with the Team Partner and Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance work, meaningful business advisory services, supporting team development and building strong, long-term client relationships. In this role, you will:

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of clients
• Review work prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Manage client compliance requirements efficiently and proactively
• Deliver a broad range of business advisory services, including:
  • Tax planning and structuring
  • Management reporting
  • Business valuations and due diligence
  • Cash flow management and budgeting
• Support the Partner and Manager with mentoring, coaching, and training staff
• Contribute to firm culture and continuous improvement initiatives
