Job summary

WSP in Napier is seeking a Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer - Construction Management to join our Napier Bridge Team. You will support procurement, contract administration, and construction delivery, working closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least five years' experience in contract and construction management on bridge projects; strong communication and a collaborative, client-focused approach,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in contract and construction management within bridge and civil structures.
Experience as Engineer's Representative Assistant or Contract Administrator Assistant desirable.
Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders and a collaborative, client-centric approach.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of bridge and civil structures projects during procurement and construction phases.
Assist with contract administration and Engineer's Representative responsibilities.
Prepare tender, procurement, and contract documentation.
Support project planning, programme management, budgeting, and reporting.
Prepare project briefs, offers of service, and fee estimates.
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives.
