WSP in Napier, NZ, seeks a Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer - Construction Management to support procurement, contract administration, and construction delivery on bridge projects. You will work with clients and contractors, prepare tender and contract documents, and contribute to program management, budgeting, and reporting.

A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 5+ years' experience with NZS391X contracts is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
5+ years' professional experience in contract and construction management within bridge and civil structures projects.
Experience serving as an Engineer's Representative Assistant or Contract Administrator Assistant with working knowledge of NZS391X contracts.
Experience preparing contract documentation and supporting contract delivery.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
Collaborative, solutions-focused, client-centric approach.
Full, clean driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of bridge and civil structures infrastructure projects during procurement and construction phases.
Assist with contract administration and Engineer's Representative responsibilities.
Prepare tender, procurement, and contract documentation.
Support project planning, programme management, budgeting, and reporting.
Prepare project briefs, offers of service, and fee estimates.
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives.
