Job summary

WSP Napier is seeking a Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer to join our Construction Management team in Napier, Hawke's Bay. You will support procurement, contract administration and construction delivery for bridge projects, working with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years in contract/construction management, with NZS391X contract experience, excellent communication, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in contract and construction management for bridge and civil structures projects.
• Experience as Engineer's Representative Assistant and/or Contract Administrator Assistant with NZS391X contracts.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and contract administration for bridge and civil structures projects.
• Assist with Engineer's Representative responsibilities and contract delivery.
• Prepare tender, procurement and contract documentation.
• Support project planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Prepare project briefs, offers of service and fee estimates.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
