Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking reliable cleaners for part-time shifts at Riccarton, Christchurch. Weekend availability is preferred. The role offers an hourly rate of NZD 24.25 and requires a pride in delivering clean, safe environments for clients and visitors.

Ideal candidates have relevant cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, good communication, and a solid understanding of health and safety practices. Applicants must have valid NZ working rights.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience (commercial preferred).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Reliable, punctual and positive work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience using scrubbers, buffers or sweepers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities including toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

We're looking for reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our team at Riccarton, Christchurch.

We have part-time opportunities available, with shifts across weekdays.

Friday: 11:30 to 21:30

Hourly rate: $24.25

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities, including toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and wipe down hard surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Previous cleaning experience (commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded).
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A reliable, punctual and positive work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
