Tawhiti School in Hawera, Taranaki, is seeking a Classroom Kaiako for a 2027 start. The position is full time and permanent, covering primary and intermediate years 1–8.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. From 28 January 2027, the base salary for trained teachers ranges from $64,119 to $107,886, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful applicant’s actual base salary will be determined by a salary assessment.
