Job summary

Halls Logistics in Napier, Hawke's Bay, is seeking experienced Class 5 drivers for permanent, full-time roles delivering frozen and chilled goods across the region.

You'll work Monday to Friday (up to 50 hours) with occasional overnights and weekend work; duties include loading/unloading, temperature checks, and delivering with safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full and clean Class 5 licence with NZ driving experience.
• Solid experience driving truck/trailer and semis.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical work and handling loads.
• Demonstrates initiative, reliability and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen and chilled product to customers.
• Unload/load product; some manual handling.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Provide high level of customer service and care.
• Check temperature settings and perform vehicle checks.
• Maintain daily vehicle checks and safety standards.

Are you an experienced Class 5 Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity in the Hawkes Bay region? This might be the role for you!

At Halls' we are looking for experienced and professional Class 5 drivers to join our Napier team. This role will see you be the friendly face of Halls’ delivering chilled and frozen food to businesses throughout the Hawkes Bay region. We are looking for customer focused individuals who take real pride in delivering product on time and safely.

Position details:

• Monday to Friday with up to 50 hours per week on offer.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, container work. This role will require overnights and the occasional weekend work where required.

What you will be doing

• Delivering frozen and chilled product to customers
• Unloading and loading product – some manual handling required
• Completing relevant delivery documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service and care to our customers
• Checking temperature settings
• Completing daily vehicle checks

What will you need?

• Hold a full and clean Class 5 licence with a minimum of 1 years NZ Class 5 driving experience
• Demonstrate solid experience driving truck and trailer and semis
• Be customer focused with strong communication skills
• Be comfortable with physical work
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic

A working knowledge of Eroad & TruckMate would be advantageous but not essential.
