Hall's in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver to join the team and deliver chilled and frozen freight across Canterbury. The role involves manual lifting, temperature checks and daily vehicle inspections, with focus on accuracy of paperwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Possess a full and clean Class 4 licence.
• Possess a valid OSH certificate.
• Have at least 1 years’ experience (refrigerated transport industry advantageous).
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the Canterbury region.
• Strong communication skills and be customer focused.
• Ability to coordinate with dispatch teams to minimise disruption.
• Be physically fit and comfortable loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and frozen freight across Canterbury.
• Manual lifting and hand unloads.
• Check temperature settings and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.

We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Class 4 Driver to join our team in Christchurch, who can be the friendly face of our business delivering chilled and frozen freight to businesses across the Canterbury region. This varied role will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

What are we looking for?

• Possess a full and clean Class 4 licence
