Job summary

Hall's Logistics in Longburn, Palmerston North, is seeking two experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our refrigerated transport team delivering chilled and frozen freight across the Palmerston North region.

We value work/life balance and safety, with duties including manual lifting, load checks, temperature settings, and daily vehicle checks. You’ll work with a friendly dispatch team to keep goods moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Full and clean Class 4 licence required.
• Valid OSH certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, refrigerated transport a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of the Lower North Island.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Ability to coordinate with dispatch and handle load configurations.
• Physically fit for loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and frozen freight to businesses in the Palmerston North region.
• Assist with manual lifting and hand unloads.
• Check temperature settings and ensure accurate documentation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and coordinate with dispatch.

Are you an experienced Class 4 Driver looking for a new opportunity which offers great work/life balance? This might be the role for you!

We have an exceptional opportunity for 2 x experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our team at Longburn, Palmerston North, who can be the friendly face of our business delivering chilled and frozen freight to businesses across the Palmerston North region. This varied role will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

What are we looking for?

• Possess a full and clean Class 4 licence
  Possess a valid OSH certificate
• Have at least 1 years’ experience (refrigerated transport industry advantageous)
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the Lower North Island
• Strong communication skills and be customer focused
• The ability to coordinate effectively with dispatch teams, planning and executing load configurations to minimise disruption to our customers
• Be physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading product
