Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a driver in Timaru to operate a variety of trucks and ensure timely collections across Timaru and surrounding areas.

You will complete logbook entries and digital vehicle safety checks while maintaining high health and safety standards. A Class 4 licence is preferred, but experienced Class 2 drivers are welcome to step up, with guaranteed hours and ongoing training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Class 4 NZ driver's licence (or experienced Class 2 driver ready to step up).
• Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsement desirable.
• Adaptable to varied tasks - no two days are the same.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service.
• A collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of trucks and ensure timely collections across Timaru and surrounding areas.
• Complete accurate logbook entries and digital vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and support our safety culture.
• Be physically fit to handle loading/unloading and varied vehicle types.
