Tradestaff New Zealand in Waihi seeks an experienced Class 4 Concrete Truck Driver to join our team. If you’ve got a strong work ethic, take pride in your driving, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the role for you.

Immediate start with accommodation and daily meals provided. Location: Waihi, Waikato. Pay rate: $35/hour, paid weekly, with ongoing work and a mix of day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 4 licence is required.
• Good driving record.
• Experience in concrete or similar truck operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction sites is preferred.
• Strong time-management skills and reliability.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Criminal record must be clean.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 4 concrete truck (auto/manual).
• Transport ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
• Keep concrete workable during transit.
• Position truck and assist with safe, efficient pours.
• Operate chutes and support site teams as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors, and contractors.
• Complete delivery dockets and logbooks accurately.
• Wash and maintain the truck after each load.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on-site.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Class 4 Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Waihi. If you’ve got a strong work ethic, take pride in your driving, and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, this could be the role for you.

Location: Waihi, Waikato
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $35/hour (paid weekly) + accommodation + daily meals

What you’ll be doing:

• Safely operating a Class 4 concrete truck (auto/manual)
• Transporting ready-mix concrete to construction sites
• Ensuring concrete remains in workable condition during transit
• Positioning the truck and assisting with safe, efficient pours
• Operating chutes and supporting site teams as required
• Communicating with dispatch, site supervisors, and contractors
• Completing delivery dockets and logbooks accurately
• Washing down and maintaining the truck after each load
• Following all health & safety procedures on-site

What we’re looking for:

• Full, valid NZ Class 4 licence
• Good driving record
• Experience in concrete or similar truck operations (preferred)
• Familiarity with construction site environments
• Strong time management and reliability
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Clean criminal record
