Job summary

Canstaff is recruiting on behalf of a smaller, well-established concrete business in Christchurch and Canterbury for an experienced Class 4 Concrete Truck Driver. You will operate concrete mixer trucks and deliver to residential, commercial and civil sites.

This is an immediate, full-time role with ongoing work. You will have proven Class 4 driving experience, a safety mindset and pride in maintaining vehicles and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience driving concrete mixer trucks is essential.
• Strong safety focus when operating heavy vehicles on busy sites.
• Excellent communication and customer service while delivering to sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4 concrete mixer trucks throughout Christchurch and Canterbury.
• Deliver concrete to residential, commercial and civil sites.
• Position and operate the mixer safely at delivery sites.
• Work with dispatch, plants, customers and site teams.
• Complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle quality.

We're recruiting on behalf of asmaller, well-established concrete businessthat is looking for an experiencedClass 4 Concrete Truck Driverto join their team.

This is animmediate need, with ongoing work available throughout Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.

Previous experience driving concrete mixer trucks is essential.This is not a role for someone looking to move into concrete driving for the first time. We're looking for an experienced operator who understands the job, can confidently manage a concrete mixer on busy sites and takes pride in providing reliable service to customers.

The business operates a largely modern fleet, with predominantly automatic trucks.

The Role

• Safely operate Class 4 concrete mixer trucks throughout Christchurch and Canterbury

• Deliver concrete to residential, commercial and civil construction sites

• Safely position and operate the mixer at delivery sites

• Work closely with dispatch, concrete plants, customers and site teams

• Complete pre-start checks and maintain a high standard of vehicle care

• Follow delivery instructions and site safety requirements

• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle documentation

• Provide professional and reliable service to customers

• Keep the truck clean and presentable

About You

• Proven experience driving concrete mixer trucks is essential

• CurrentClass 4 driver's licence

• Confident and experienced operating heavy vehicles

• Comfortable manoeuvring and working around construction sites

• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety and compliance

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Takes pride in looking after vehicles and equipment

• Able to work independently while being part of a small, supportive team

• A good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
