Job summary

Hw Richardson - Allied Concrete is hiring a Class 4 driver to deliver ready-mix concrete around the Auckland region. You will join a friendly team with a focus on safety, reliability and customer service.

The role offers a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on skills, licenses and experience. Full uniform and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• NZ Class 4 driver licence required (or class 2 with willingness to learn).
• At least 1 year of heavy vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Flexible with early starts and varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 4 concrete truck safely and efficiently.
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to customer sites across Auckland.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance.

Are you an experienced Class 4 driver who takes pride in safe and reliable service? We're looking for someone like you to join our team at Allied Concrete Penrose.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role delivering ready-mix concrete across the Auckland region. You'll be part of a friendly crew that works together to get the job done right, safely, efficiently and with great customer service.

We supply your full uniform and PPE, so you're ready to hit the road from day one. The position offers a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on skills, licenses and experience.

Key responsibilities include

• Operating a Class 4 concrete truck safety and efficiently
• Delivering ready-mix concrete to customer sites across Auckland
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies

What we're looking for

You'll bring more than just driving skills, we want someone who shows up on time, communicates well with customers, and puts safety first every time. Flexibility is key, with early starts and varied hours a part of the role.

• A current New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence (or a class 2 manual licence and the willingness to learn)
• At least 1 year of relevant heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
