Job summary

Monk Earthworks Ltd in Queenstown is seeking a hands-on Truck Operator to operate Class 4 or Class 5 trucks across civil construction and earthworks projects in the Queenstown Lakes District. You’ll be part of a capable crew, performing vehicle checks and helping on site when not driving.

Qualifications

• Hold a Full New Zealand Class 4 or Class 5 Licence.
• Previous truck driving experience; civil construction experience preferred.

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety.
• WTR endorsements or experience operating machinery are an advantage but not essential.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Monk Earthworks – Queenstown, South Island

You'll be responsible for operating our machinery to transport aggregate and construction materials across a variety of civil construction and earthworks projects throughout the Queenstown Lakes District. This is a hands-on role, so when you're not behind the wheel, you'll be happy to lend a hand on site and work alongside our experienced crew.

Key responsibilities

• Operating Class 4 or Class 5 truck and trailer combinations safely and efficiently.
• Transporting aggregate and construction materials.
• Completing vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of care.
• Supporting earthworks and drainage crews if required.

About you
