Job summary

Canstaff is seeking an experienced Class 4/5 Truck Driver to join our well-established NZ-owned client in South Canterbury. This hands-on role involves transporting materials and structural components to sites and helping on site when needed.

You will operate Class 4/5 trucks, load and secure irregular loads, and uphold high health and safety standards while working with a supportive team in varied, non-repetitive work. Competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Full Class 4 or 5 licence.
• Proven experience loading and securing a wide range of loads.
• Confidence handling unusual or oversized items.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in on site.
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical mindset.
• Reliability and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4/5 trucks
• Load, secure, and transport a variety of materials, including irregular/odd-shaped structures
• Ensure loads are safely restrained and compliant
• Assist on site with general tasks when required
• Maintain high standards of health & safety
