Whitestone Contracting Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 4 or Class 5 Truck Driver for permanent part‑time work in Oamaru. Perfect for drivers seeking extra hours or semi‑retired individuals wanting to stay active, with flexible hours to suit the business needs.

You will operate trucks, perform deliveries, and support site crews while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations. A minimum NZ Class 4/5 licence and 2+ years NZ driving experience are required.

Qualificações

• NZ Class 4 or 5 licence held at time of application.
• Demonstrated safe driving record and compliance with transport rules.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with team and customers.
• Experience with hook trucks or telehandlers is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Class 4 or Class 5 trucks safely and efficiently.
• Complete deliveries on time and perform contract work as required.
• Operate a hook truck and, ideally, telehandler.
• Carry out vehicle checks, load security checks and required paperwork.

Whitestone Contracting Ltd is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 4 or Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating Class 4 or Class 5 trucks safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out contract work and making deliveries on time.
• Operating a hook truck and, ideally, other plant such as a telehandler.
• Completing vehicle checks, load security checks and required paperwork.
• Maintaining a professional approach with customers, colleagues and the public.
• Following all transport regulations and company health and safety procedures.

What You'll Bring

• A current NZ Class 4 or Class 5 driver licence.
• At least 2 years' New Zealand driving experience in a Class 4 or 5 vehicle.
• Wheels, tracks and rollers endorsements
• The right to work in New Zealand.
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Good communication skills and a reliable, can-do attitude.
• The ability to work independently and take pride in your work.
• Experience operating a hook truck and telehandler would be an advantage.
