Job summary

Hirestaff is seeking a Class 2 driver for a large New Zealand transport operation. After initial training, you will relief drive to cover staff, with progression to your own truck as you gain experience.

Starting at 5am or 6am and finishing by 4–6pm, the role is temporary with a pathway to permanent employment after three months. Applicants should attach a CV and be prepared for yard work in addition to driving.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 2 driver.
• Willing to work between 5am/6am and 4–6pm.
• Own reliable transport to get to work.

Responsibilities

• Relief drive to cover staff after training.
• Progress to drive your own truck over time.
• Be part of a warehouse team and learn operations.

Do you have experience as a Class 2 driver?

This is the perfect opportunity to join one of the largest transport companies in New Zealand. After initial training, you will relief drive to cover staff, and eventually progress to your own truck. You will not have your own truck from day 1 as new starters spend some time in the yard learning how everything operates.

Start at 5am or 6am, finish by 4-6pm.

This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after 3 months. Only applicants with attached CVs will be considered for this role.
