Job summary

CARTERS Whangarei is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to deliver building materials to customer sites in a curtain-side truck, safely and accurately, while building strong relationships along the way. When not on the road, you’ll help with day-to-day yard and branch operations.

You’ll hold a valid NZ Class 2 licence (Class 4 advantageous), may pursue Hiab certification with CARTERS support, and be physically fit with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid FULL New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Class 2 licence, Class 4 advantageous.
• Forklift F Endorsed Licence with OSH Certificate desirable.
• Experience driving a curtain-side truck, including loading and unloading building materials using side-curtain access.
• A team-focused attitude with a positive, can-do approach and building rapport with customers.
• Physically fit for occasional heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Strong safety awareness and understanding of relevant regulations.
• Building industry knowledge an advantage.
