About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to oversee infrastructure development projects in the Queenstown region. This role involves managing all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities, working closely with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, design, procurement, and construction phases of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular project reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities).
