Job summary

Advanced Personnel is seeking skilled Civil Plant Operators for opportunities in the Christchurch and greater Canterbury Region. You’ll operate excavators, loaders, rollers, dozers, graders and other heavy machinery across civil construction, roading, drainage and earthworks projects.

You’ll bring relevant W, T and R endorsements, appropriate driver licence classes, strong safety awareness and practical site experience. If you’re reliable and work well within a crew, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' relevant operating experience.
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, rollers, dozers and graders.
• Relevant W, T and/or R endorsements where required.
• CLASS 2 / 4 / 5 licence where required.
• Civil construction experience.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Reliable and able to work effectively within a crew.

Responsibilities

• Operating WTR Machinery.
• Earthworks and site preparation.
• Trenching and/or drainage work.
• Loading and moving materials.
• Completing daily equipment checks.
• Working safely around people and other machinery.
• Supporting the wider site team when required.
