Canstaff is seeking reliable Civil Labourers for ongoing work on asphalt and road sealing projects in Timaru. You’ll be part of a busy crew, doing hands-on outdoor tasks and helping with site setup and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous civil, construction, or roading experience is a bonus (but not essential).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Willing to learn and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with asphalt laying and road sealing operations.
• Rake, shovel, and spread asphalt.
• Support traffic management and site setup/pack down.
• Operate small tools and equipment (rollers, compactors).
• General labouring duties to support the crew on-site.
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
